Woman Scout Cookie season is here. Here’s where a box can be bought by yo (or five).

Plus, there’s an innovative new gluten-free cookie in the lineup.

It’s time for you to swap your gingerbread for Thin Mints. An annual initiative that helps Girl Scouts raise money for travel, outdoor activities, and charity on Tuesday, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts launched its cookie season.

As well as Caramel deLites, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbread, woman Scout S’mores, Thanks-A-Lot, and Thin Mints, this current year the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts are available Caramel Chocolate Chip snacks, an innovative new gluten-free, peanut-free choice. Much like the other tastes, the brand new snacks will be offered for $5 per field.

Two manufacturers that are different ABC Bakers and minimal Brownie Bakers — make Girl Scout Cookies. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts usage ABC Bakers, and that’s why Caramel deLites are referred to as Samoas in other regions of the nation, and just why Peanut Butter Patties also are referred to as Tagalongs. Scouts in Central and Western Massachusetts use minimal Brownie Bakers.

“ABC Bakers simply happened to be providing a brand new gluten-free find-bride cookie this 12 months,” said Michelle Juralewicz, the marketing and sales communications supervisor for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, for the limited-edition Caramel Chocolate Chip.

You might find some Girl Scouts ringing your doorbell or hanging outside your regional food store, here you will find the future formal places of cookie product sales into the Boston area.
